Connect Google Search Console

Google Search Console provides the query and page performance data used by live scans.

OAuth setup

  1. Create or open a Google Cloud project.
  2. Enable the Google Search Console API.
  3. Create OAuth client credentials for a web application.
  4. Add the plugin callback URL from Content Decay Fixer > Setup to the OAuth redirect URI list.
  5. Copy the client ID and client secret into the plugin setup screen.
  6. Enter the Search Console property exactly as Google shows it, such as https://example.com/ or sc-domain:example.com.

Connection checks

  • Use the plugin’s connection test before running a live scan.
  • If OAuth fails, verify the redirect URI and property format.
  • If no data appears, confirm the Google account has Search Console access to that property.
